Goodwall recognized a critical gap in supporting emerging artists globally. Young creators needed a platform that could both showcase their work and provide sustainable financial opportunities.They wanted to create a system that would empower artists while simultaneously contributing to meaningful causes, making art a vehicle for positive change.

Solution

Together with NMKR, Goodwall created exclusive NFT collections featuring artwork from 25 exceptional young artists selected through their Art Beyond Borders program. The collections were featured at the Cardano Summit 2024.NMKR Studio played a central role in creating and preparing the NFTs for sale while providing guidance and consultancy. At major events like the Cardano Summit, NMKR Pay enabled attendees to purchase NFTs easily using crypto, credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Results

• Easy onboarding and purchase Artists worldwide applied through the Goodwall app, submitting their creations and a 1-minute motivational video. The Goodwall team shortlisted the most inspiring entries, and a jury of experts carefully selected the 25 finalists, whose artwork is on display and available for purchase.
• Innovative Revenue Distribution The initiative established a groundbreaking three-way impact model where each NFT sale supports artists directly (34%), contributes to refugee aid through UNHCR (33%), and helps sustain future art programs through the Evergreen Art Fund (33%).
• Support Charity With a portion of each sale supporting the UNHCR in aiding refugees worldwide, each purchase celebrates youth creativity while contributing to a powerful cause.
• Global Visibility Artists gain global visibility with an exclusive NFT feature at the Cardano Summit in Dubai. Each purchase supports the artists, helps them gain recognition, and contributes to meaningful causes, extending the impact far beyond the digital canvas.
• Reward young Artists Each selected artist receives a $100 cash prize, celebrating their creativity and hard work. Additionally, they earn 34% of all ongoing NFT sales, creating a sustainable income stream.
• Community Growth The project has created a thriving ecosystem of artists, collectors, and philanthropists, demonstrating how blockchain technology can unite creativity with social impact.
