How does Plutus Work?

Plutus is Cardano's smart contract platform, enabling developers to build and deploy secure and scalable smart contracts on the Cardano blockchain. It consists of a purpose-built smart contract language called Plutus Core, which is based on Haskell, a functional programming language. Plutus Core programs are executed on the Cardano Settlement Layer (CSL), ensuring security through formal verification and minimizing the risk of vulnerabilities.
